This piece encapsulates my three-year-long experience of being immersed online and my growing concern about the algorithm's influence. While it can introduce us to new ideas, eventually it exposes us to extreme examples in the world and fostering a collective atmosphere of greed, fear, and desperation on our timelines. Through this experience I’ve realized the importance of offline connections and the need to prioritize quality time with loved ones who offer support, laughter, new perspectives, and meaningful memories in a world where competition dominates.
